Boat Event

Does anyone know how to make an event that would put the player into the rowboat when they walk into water, then make the rowboat disappear when they row onto land?

I'll give it a shot and post the screenshot

Edit: Put the players location in variables, set the boat location to those variables, then have them get on the boat. When you want the player to get off, do the get on/off vehicle again and send the boat to an unused part of the map

Your welcome. Though you will have to put the event on every edge of water, so only use it on the world map

...or you can simply use PPM -> Set start position -> Boat.

An alternative Workaround would be:
Make the Water passable and give it a Terrain Tag Number like "1" in Database Tilesets.
Than instead of using the Boat, we change the Player Graphic to the Boatgraphic, see below in the Picture:

I'm a bit conflicted. One the one hand, it's quite visually cool to make bodies of water that the player can interact with by going into it. However obscuring the player character from a gameplay perspective is pretty bad. Hmm... There's the option to make the area around the player visible, but then that kind of defeats the purpose of submerging them. :unsure:
