I got it solved Bobstah.

I believe there was a problem with the file upon download as it ended in ".js.js".

So I just copy/pasted the raw into notepad, and then saved it as a ".js" and plugged it in. It's working perfectly!!

Believe it or not, the only reason why I wanted this plugin was to eliminate "Items" from all actors (Except my Tech/Chemist Actors), but now I think I'm gonna use it a little more than intended.

Great work!! And I think it's easier to use than even Yanfly's VXAce Battle Commands Script (No Offense Yanfly, I still ADORE your work!!)

Yup, that was the problem. Bob has also already fixed that issue a couple of hours ago =)

I wasn't going to make a post, but this is severely helpful! Thanks so much.

(Would it be too difficult to add the dates/times you updated the plugin for future instances. Had it not have been for me having issues, I probably wouldn't have read through the forum and realized you updated the plugin more than once.)

I'm glad the plugin is useful to you! :) I'm working on a huge one now that is already over 700 lines! It's consuming all my free time! :(

I added the date and time the current version was released at the top of the first post, and added dates for prior versions. Thank you for the suggestion!

Bobstah, is there any chance you could enable tooltips or descriptions for the commands that are used in this way?

For example, when you hover over the 'Spark' command, to display the description that would normally be provided within the 'Magic' submenu.

Is it possible to add a menu that contains multiple skill types, not just separating the skills by skill type?

Ex: I have Physical, Magical, and Immortal skill types. I want a menu called Skills that contains all Physical and Magical skills, but Immortal skills are not included.

I'm not getting any tooltips when I run a game with no plugins, or when I disable my Battle Commands script and run one with a good bit of plugins from the preorder. Do you know what plugin is providing this functionality so that I can take a look?

I'll see if I can whip something up for this. Would stypes:id,id,id work as a notetag?

Sorry, tooltips might have been the wrong word. What I meant was just this:

It would be amazing if there was still a space for skill descriptions when using this plugin, without needing to go into any submenus to see it. My command menu is going to be something like 'Attack, Fire, Potion', so players will probably be a bit clueless as to what their skills do without it.

I haven't really looked in-depth at this, but I will give it a go once I finish the multi-skill command mentioned above.

Version 1.4 available from the original post (10/28/2015)!

I think stypes:id,id,id would work just fine!
I've updated the plugin with this function, but I went a little further. Now, you would use:

STypes(CommandName):1,2

Let's say that skill type 1 is Black Magic, and skill type 2 is White Magic. To combine them into a single battle command named Magic, you would use:

STypes(Magic):1,2

Does this make sense?

Also, on to the tooltip/help window request from Sera. :)

Yes yes yes!! Thanks so much! This really clears the clutter and confusion of having skills in different menus!

You've just done what I've hoped to be able to do for a while now. Man, you are great at this... Even letting us name the category... Props to you.

Heads up, there is a game-breaking bug in version 1.4. I've got a fix coming, hang tight.

(Edit: Bug fixed in version 1.5)

(Activating Skills from the main menu will cause the game to crash due the way I am intercepting Window_SkillList's functions)

I fixed the bug and added four new features!

FirstSkill:ID,ID,etc - Show the first skill that the actor has learned from the provided list.

LastSkill:ID,ID,etc - Show the last skill that the actor has learned from the provided list.

FirstItem:ID,ID,etc - Show the first item that the party owns from the provided list.

LastItem:ID,ID,etc - Show the last item that the party owns from the provided list.

Version 1.6 is now available!

Bobstah, is there any chance you could enable tooltips or descriptions for the commands that are used in this way?
Done! Download version 1.6 and make sure the new Parameter, Show Help Window, is set to 1. It will display the skill or item's default description.

There isn't a good way to show MP and TP costs this way, as it would involve me combining description and costs together, which might get messy. I may look at doing something about this, but it would be hard to factor in all of the custom cost plugins out there and making them display properly in the help window.

Mods: Sorry for the triple post! I thought adding the help window would take a lot longer, so I made a stop-gap version until I had it figured out.

Version 1.6.1 is available, fixing a bug with the new help window!

I'd like to hold off on any new features day or two and just focus on fixing bugs. Adding this many features over such a short time is causing more and more bugs to crop up. If anyone finds a bug, please reply here and I'll take care of it.

Feel free to continue requesting features as well, I'll get to them in a few days. :)

A feature that I would like to see is a turn skip.

If I post an item for sale on fb for $750 and say it's in excellent condition, what is going through someone's mind to make them think it is remotely acceptable to offer $300 for it?
