I am attempting to create a system that uses the base stats in MV (Atk, Def, Matk, Mdef, luk, etc) as a direct battle only display, and would like to create a separate set of parameters that directly affect the base parameters. For example, if I were to rename Attack to Damage, then create another parameter called Prowess, I would like the base for the Damage stat to become the actors Prowess stat (more calculations may be involved to arrive to the actual Damage stat, this is just an example). I know this is possible with Bobstah's Custom Stats and directly adding Prowess into the formula of a skill, but I would prefer that it directly effect the Damage stat so that the player could see the change in real time. I think this would be possible using Yanfly's Base Parameter Control formula's, I am just not exactly sure how to actually achieve my goal.

I want something similar in my game. However Bobstahs custom parameter plugin has a problem - the stats aren't included in the temporary actor-copy used to show the effects of changing equipment. So if your new stat x influences the ATK value changing the equipment will display NaN because the copied actor doesn't has this stat. It's a downside of how Bostah wrote his plugin.

Because of this i decided to write my own extra-stats plugin: SGS Stats

And yes this is already working with yanflys base parameters (tested it). You would use "this.prowess" f.ex. in the atk-formula. But it is still a WIP, so don't expect too much.

Looks great! Awesome! I can start using this right now. Can't wait for the note tag implication for items. My game will be using a stat purchase system so I don't really need a level curve, though I have seen many hoping for one of these. Thank you for your time and fast response :D

Update: Works like a charm! Now if I can just set variables to represent the new stats in Yanfly's Actor Variables and update it while still in menu

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
