Story
In 'Bots!', you are a child named Mia who is the last surviving human on earth after robots have taken over. You start by exploring the land, but you find yourself in a whole lot of trouble and learn more about what happened to planet Earth. You can also meet some robots who really don't mind humans at all! The story is heavily inspired by LISA and I recommend that you buy it immediately!

Gameplay

The gameplay is very similar to LISA. You explore, find party members and items, then fight some bosses. One difference is that it's a top-down RPG instead of a platformer RPG. The battle system is simple. Each skill is a timed attack. Some are button mashing, others are just simple bar timing (similar to Undertale). There is many different varieties from the different ways to attack and approach each enemy and boss with optional grinding. There will also be tons of unique party members to use as you progress through the game.

The soundtrack to this game is being continuously updated throughout and can be listened to here: and will be published on Bandcamp after the game's released!

@Frosty_Games_ I'm not demotivating you but I should tell you that your Concept is good whereas you must work a bit more on your Pixelart.

Or Get some Pixel Artist on your Team.

Instead of just Bumping it again and again, why don't you just Post some Updates time to time.

Progress Logs or Pics, etc. Which may bring peoples Attention to your Project.

I have been enjoying a game on my iPhone, called Wonderbox. It is just a little game where you create adventures, share them, whilst also being able to play others. It's a bit zelda-esque. I feel QSprite for MV is underrated. I basically am able to use my chibi sideview battlers I drew on the maps and have all the motions available. this'll help a lot with cutscenes.
I've figured out how to reasonably tall-ify chibi sprites on my editor. I like that making tall sprites gives me control on expressing how tall characters seem on the field relative to each other as well as better differentiate adult sprites from child sprites.
doing some wacky experimental stuff in MV right now :kaoluv: I cannot wait to drop what I've been working on
