RPG Maker Forums

I'm creating a game that is mainly focused on dialogue, but I want to have combat that basically a cheap re-skin of battle as is.
I've renamed all the mechanics and attacks, but I want to display a sprite's associates bust instead of the sprite itself.

The plugin will need to:
  • re-skin all combat to 'look' like multiple 'enemies' and party members are having a conversation like a scripted bust event.
  • Still function like RPG Maker MV's normal combat system.
  • When selecting the moves/attacks for one of your party members, they will move forward and the others will darken in color to draw attention to who you're selecting.
  • Would like the ability to rotate through bust files during attacks so i can animate their mouths during attacks.
  • Would like to be able to change the bust file when a party members attacks are being made so they can have a battle-cry face on while the play chooses their attack.
  • Would like to change the bust file when a player is being attacked so they can have a wincing face on them.
I've re-skinned a quick mock battle in After Effects to demonstrate what I'm looking for:

If there any questions on this, please feel free to let me know. If this is something that is too big to handle, I'm willing to pay for the time that is required to make this.

Don't forget, aspiring writers: Personality isn't what your characters do, it is WHY they do it.
Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
