Hi, I'm searching for a button smashing system outside battle that don't use the Atelier RGSS script for chain command:
https://atelierrgss....ain-commands-m/

There's also "Thex Animated Power Bar & Button Masher", however I can't the neither the script or the demo.

This other system don't quite work, as the player could just do a continuous press instead of pressing a lot of times:

I tryied this tutorial for RPG Maker MV, however it didn't worked on VX, it seems that as long as the text window is opened, the "End Game" command can't be executed.

Thanks for your time!

I would create a variable with value = 50 and a loop containing the condition which, "if button is triggered" add 1 on a variable, and "else" decreses 1. Another condition would verify if variable = 0 (failed), or = 100 (succeed), and exits the loop.

In theory I think it works. As you're portuguese, if you preffer, posting here we can explain better.

The problem with this event is that the player can just maintain the button pressed. My intention was to force him to keep pressing the button several times before the time runs out.

Exactly. Therefore you must use a condition by script instead of by "button is pressed". Try this code:
Code:
Input.trigger?(Input::C)

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
