Buy Skills W/Items & Increase Stats?

So I have been filtering through the script lists here and on the master script list. What I am looking for either doesn't exist yet, or is named something that didn't prompt me to look at that particular script.

What I am looking for is very similar to Yanfly's Learn Skill Engine, but I do not want to use JP. 

Essentially this is what I would like to see:

  • Character levels up and earns an item, let's call it a Skill Memory Stone.
  • Player then goes to a skill tree or something similar to buy a skill with their item.
  • Once the skill is unlocked it gives a permanent bonus to specific stats for that player.
I was thinking I could use Yanfly's Learn Skill engine, coupled with his Parameter Bonus Growth, but that wouldn't work.

Does anyone know if something like this is out there?

Hmm, does this actually need a script?  I can think of ways that it might be done just with events, though it would probably need a bit of fiddling around with if you have a lot of these.

Cutting out the fancy detail:

Select item in menu

This calls up a show picture event plus (depending on how you want to do this)  some sort of show choices.

Each choice then runs a 'learn skill' and a 'change parameters' command.

Erase picture.

EDIT

I assume you would make the item consumable so that it only gives one skill.

Hmmm. It could like be done that way. I am going to try Lune Skill Tree, because it may fit my needs, as I would really like a visual interpretation of it. 

The skill tree Indrah and Fomar used in Final Quest - A Disciples Journey was pretty close also. (Kudos to the two of you again!)
