Hey guys I just noticed I can't read properly..

I just bought some of the resources and didn't noticed they're just for VX and VX-Ace and I wanted to use them for MV :(

I don't know if it's necessary but is it possible to convert or resize them like the Charakters or Faces?

And can I use the tiles I bought in MV, too or do I need to convert/resize them, too?

The packs we have in the store are for use in any RPG Maker, with the exception of Essentials Pack and Cover Art Characters pack (which are for MV use only). :)

So, yes, you may use them for MV. They're optimized for Ace, so you may need to convert them, but there are also plugins that allow you to use them as is.

What's worked for me so far is to do the following:

1: Open up the file to resize in GIMP

2: Select resize, and multiply all the dimensions by 3, hit apply. This will now make the images 2x s big as they need to be for MV

3: Select resize again, and divide all dimensions by 2, hit apply. Now they will be in the right size for MV.

The reason for the 2 resizes is there is no reliable image algorithm to resize anything by a scale of 1.5x, and if you directly go to 1.5x the original size, you will have massive issues with the image quality.

Is the re-sizing plugin one of the included from preorder? Or do I have to find it?

It's included in the preorder, and it's also available here on the forum.

It doesn't resize. It allows you to use tile sizes other than 48x48.

There's also a TileD plugin that you could use, if you fancy making your maps in TileD. Another way of having them other than the standard size.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
