One of my favorite shows has to be mystery science theater 3000, even though it's no longer shown, but I thought I'd create a VX/VX ACE version.

With people in it.  If you want to add your own people, the silhouette must be 134 x 188...

Cute! It would be cute to do something similar with a variety of fruits/veggies for a farming game.

Blast the hell, how come I just recognizing this thread, That French country is really2 damn great, the TILE 2 that looks like neckace is with moon I love it. Just the thing is, I don't know how to use them :( . All this ever I only can use a tileset like celianna tileset mack tileset that is already adjusted in A1 A2 A3 and so on. I can live with that, But now I saw your stuff, I really want to use it ;_; !! Oh well, I will try to find help on google how to import and use them. Thank you so much for your share :)

You should read the help file, specifically where it talks about Resource Standards, that will tell you everything you need to know. The rest is just copying and pasting into the right spots.

Yeah, I started to do graphics for my game, only I never finished, but I still wanted them to be used.. I really enjoy doing graphics, which has lead me to a love of art... which I always have had, but never the confidence to improve.  On a positive note, I saw some zombie graphics and really wanted to create my own, so I borrowed their color palette using the FSM characters...  I might do more as I feel zombies should be more human like.

Thanks I am really trying to improve, but water and nature still my weak points.  On a positive note, I am expanding to pillars, only this one is likely best used parallax mapping I did not want to lose the detail at the top and bottom.

UPDATE; I redid it...

I'd hate to criticize when I'm so bad at art myself, but I think the pillar has a little proportion problem.
I mean, the central colum part now looks like it's oval shaped. When you look at the round base, it looks like there's more space on the side than in the front.
It's probably just a matter of the point of view angle.

I've added how I view the perspective. The blue oval is the base while the red one is the same proportion with reduced size. It doesn't match the column.

I updated the pillar, but more practicing resulted this graphic.. the bottom right is to be used for VX/VX ACE, but the others xp, vx, or vx ace.

Here's a hint. The typical RPG view is sometimes called 3/4ths view because the depth is 3/4ths of the size it would be if you were looking directly down at it. So to make a flat circle it should actually be an oval. To put it another way, if you had a box that was 4 pixels big on every side, that box in RPG perspective would be 4 pixels wide, 4 pixels tall, and 3 pixels deep.

I'd call that a trap door. I can imagine the sun seal moving aside and revealing the ladder and secret passage.

Whereas I'd call it a manhole cover, or a drain cover.  For me a trapdoor is (probably) wooden, and lifts up.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
