Pork tongue sounds delicious! I did salmon tacos last night. It was meant to be spicy but it wasn't at all. Haha.

Today for Lunch I made baked swai and tilapia with turnip greens and onions and for dinner I made 2 cheese burgers with turnip greens on artesano bread.

@Saltwater Croc Maybe it's the perspective of the camera but those look like normal-sized donuts to me. XD

Lemon and coconut sound like an amazing combination, too. Lime though. Ahhhhhh.

I'm a pretty healthy eater. I don't fry my food. And, this definitely isn't an authentic recipe. So I call it "General Faux's" chicken.

I got lazy and dumped it in the crock pot for six hours. How lazy? It gets so tender that your new mantra will be "what the Heck is chewing?!"

For 2lbs of boneless skinless chicken breast, you'll need a marinade of.

4 TBSP Light Soy Sauce

2 TBSP Rice Wine Vinegar

2 TBSP Chili Paste

2 TBSP Tomato Paste

2 TSP Sesame Oil

2 TBSP Minced Ginger

4 cloves of garlic

Juice of 1 fresh orange

Wisk all that together. Marinade for a few hours to over night.

Add

  • 6 red chilies (if you're me and love spice, have at it and add more)
  • Zest some of that orange in.
  • Also, I don't know if it's sacrilege or anything but I wanted more vegetables so I added half an onion and a couple carrots.
  • 2 TSP corn starch. Check to see if it's thickened up after a few hours. If not, use a little more.

Chuck it all in the crock pot 6 hours before dinner is needed.

Serve with brown rice and broccoli!

@Ms Littlefish Believe it or not they actually are mini. :D The perspective does play a trick, though.  But the machine is a Sunbeam Mini Donut maker (They'e BAKED! I used cake mix but you could also use donut batter...)

and you could even use pancake batter... or even biscuit dough!

(And your chicken sounds divine. I'm gonna try it!!)

So I have this idea. I have to try it still, but the idea is genius imo.

Start with some pasta dough. Make a ravioli out of it with ham, turkey, and swiss. Bread and deep fry said ravioli. Top with powdered sugar and strawberry sauce. Its like a monte cristo sandwich as a pasta.

That does sound genius. You definitely need to give it a whirl and report back to us. I bet a lot of sandwiches could successfully go through a ravioli transformation. I'm brainstorming.

Tomorrow I plan on making shrimp ramen from scratch.  Since discovering how to do it I have been making it often.

Tonight I made oatmeal craisin cookies and granola, the granola tastes like honey bunches of oats.  I forgot to double up on the eggs but it actually tasted better with fewer eggs than what they normally do.

I had probably one of the best ramen in the Midwest in my experience(haven't tried the ones on the West coast or in Japan yet) about 3 weeks ago. I really wanna go back one day <3 This was their House Special, I think? The broth was not thick or too rich; it was a clear broth with the right amount of richness and umami. I literally gulped down the broth after finishing the contents.

I went to eat at my parents house today and my father made this:

It's basically chicken and potatoes but he made the potatoes in his own way, mostly slicing them and adding\mixing ham and cheese.
