I spent a while trying to find where I got the recipe for the cookies earlier, but it seems the site took it down and has a bunch of new cookie stuff on there.. but here's the recipe if you want it ;) It's pretty easy. I sometimes add a pat more of butter if the peanut butter I have is a bit dry.

Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

1/2 C Softened Butter
1/3 C Smooth Peanut Butter
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 C Peanut Butter Chips
3/4 C Sugar
1 Egg
1 1/4 C Flour
1/4 tsp Salt

Preheat over to 350

Mix Butter, Sugar, and Peanut Butter until creamed.
Add in Egg and Vanilla
Start a dry mix of Flour, Baking Soda, and Salt.
Add in the dry mix to the wet mix in batches.
Add in the Peanut Butter Chips

Drop 1/4 C size lumps of cookie dough onto a cookie sheet (don't grease the sheet).
Bake 12- 16mins. For really soft cookies 13-14 mins is about perfect :)
You of course could add in chocolate chips too or some nuts or whatever, but I'm not a huge fan of chocolate.. but peanut butter is my weakness.. I love almost all peanut butter goodies ;)

Peanut butter and chocolate go very well together.  My best friend says she doesn't know whether to kiss or kill the man who invented Reese's peanut butter cups.  Probably because they taste so good but are SO bad for you.

It's also nearing the time to start making more chili and even some stew.

I love food, and enjoy cooking. Me and my close friends often throw dinner parties, where we'll all shop separately and then make food together in one of our homes.

Always try to go for something new and exotic though, both in terms of the dishes, and the alcohol.

2 weeks back we had veal, and drank absinthe served traditionally with ice-water and a cube of sugar.

I always love beef. I mean, just because of the high protein it gives.

I spent this morning making a mango peach pepper sauce. Turned out delicious. I love combos of spicy and sweet.

Here it is simmering away before being jammed in the food processor.

Fire Salt:

1 part paprika

1 part ancho chili powder

1.5 parts Cayenne Pepper

14 parts salt

Mix very well and taste for spiciness. If you want it hotter add the extra .5 part of cayenne pepper.

Be brave.   Enjoy!

Mmmm my mouth waters just thinking about it. Store it in an empty spice jar.

I got the idea from an episode of Steven Universe.

Making soft pretzels at the moment...will try to get a picture before they're all gobbled up!

Looks yummy Nio - I don't think my jaw could handle the double bagel though (have TMJ).

I am a spice wimp...can't take the heat! Once made the mistake of using spicy Italian sausage in some soup I made...never again!

It's only the second time I've made them, so I am no pro especially at getting the right shape/proportion but even so they were yummy.

I used the Alton Brown recipe found here

Celebrated my eldest's birthday yesterday, made a chocolate cake with peanut-butter-cream icing that turned out really good (so good the whole family pretty much passed out for an afternoon nap after consumption). Definitely not something you want to make regularly, but it's easy to make and quite a treat if you like peanut butter.

(didn't think to take a picture yesterday before eating most of it, but there it is.)

I like baking stuff and making pasta. Though coz I've been busy I haven't cooked for a while. I'd probably make a cheesecake soon though.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
