I like to create custom action, a menù made by pictures or anything...
I can create invisibile ordered events with the functions that i want, and i can call them when i need it, is more ordered and precise, i'm not a programmer so a lot of thing i need to do it with script.
Years ago with Rm2k or Rm2k3 that function was really useful in order to make complex scene, or custom menù, or custom BS.
