Call Menu Idea

Hey guys I need some help knowing if this is possible. So what I am trying to do is give the player an option to choose what kind of menu they want, but I don't want them to be able to use the menu when it opens to show the menu they chose. How would I go about opening the menu and have it to where the player can't use it at that point.

One thing that comes into my mind is to Create an Illusion.
Take Screenshots of your different Menus in your standard Game Resolution.
Than Import those Pictures into RPG Maker.
Show Choice and Show Picture and some Labels for the Menu Selection Code.
In Theory that should work.

So one of my games uses Yanfly's System Options, and includes in the functionality to swap window styles. That scene has one side of the screen being the possible options to select, with the other side of the screen being something of a sample window that includes some text messages in varying colors.

In theory, you could get that project, take the code-section labled "Marrend - Window Selection", and go from there.

My smaller game will revolve around a single character who recruits monsters for the main story quest. Like me, he will have no social life and be hesitant to go outside. Heheh.
