I'm looking for ones made with the official English version, not the pirated version. It's been out for a while now and I have myself a copy but I really want to see what others have done with it. Can someone tell me if there are any completed or at least playable demos out there?

Ocean actually made a sample game for RM2K3 called Mystic Sunrise, which is a pretty good display of what can be done with the engine. You can find it over here

Maybe there's another thread speaking of that but is RPG Maker 2k3 kind of dead? Even with its new official release. I always worked on this version and stick with it because I prefered it to each new RPG Maker versions.

But looking to the projects forums the projects made with this version are now very few. I'm asking this because I'm afraid that people loosing interest to play games made with this version.

So, have you any idea of the state of RPG Maker 2k3 in the RPG Maker community? Thanks.

Well ypu have to give it a chance to catch up. It only got an official release a few months ago and people are probably still working on their games. Plus a lot of people were waiting on the patch EULA myself included. Now that that is out I'm sure we will start seeing a lot more projects made with 2003.

The Sacred Tears TRUE is made with 2k or 2k3 not sure though, but the game was really nice with a very cool and entertaining story.

Was it made with the officially released version though? I'm only interested in games that came from a non pirated copy of the maker.

Ahriman's Prophecy is also made with 2k or 2k3 and is one of my favorites, you can ask Amaranth Games if they have legalized the old makers in the meantime.

Wasn't aware you were talking about a Steam game till I looked it up. Of course it would have to be legal. >.<

And I'll try out Ahriman's Prophecy. :) It looks neat.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
