Can GCH make a Mack-size sprite in Ace style?

Looking at the screenshots, it looks like this will make Mack-size sprites; however, I'm using Ace, and would like the sprites to match the Ace painted art style rather than pixel art. The product description talks about a converter that converts sprites for different RPG Maker versions, but I don't know if that means it will resize the sprite or change it from pixel art to the painted style.

So can I use this to make a Mack-size sprite in the Ace painted style, or am I going to need to find a sprite artist to create the kind of sprites I want?

GCH does not "make" things. It puts things together that you have already made (or that someone else has already made). If you have the right components in the right style, it can make pretty much whatever you want.

What it CAN'T do is take a sprite in XP pixel style and convert it to Ace painted style. Or an Ace sprite and convert it to Mack size. You have to provide the resources that it puts together.

So if you don't already have the artwork/pieces for a Mack-size sprite in the Ace painted style, then yes, you are going to have to get an artist to either make them for you, or to make the sprites themselves.

Ace's sprites are pixel art too though. The only non-pixel art style of sprite that's really seen around here are the ones that come with Celianna's Rural Farm Tiles.

I see. So I still need to find a sprite artist to create the pieces I need. In that case, I don't really need GCH. I can use GIMP and its layers to put the pieces together, once I have them. Thanks!

There are MACK sized sprites available for editing in GCH workshop.

Indeed, GCH has XP characters with XP resources (meaning dont use them if you dont own XP).

But I have been using the files uploaded by Laflibuste and they work super well.

My advice, get the PNG and import them as items, so you can select to have GCH generate the color variations, it's easier than having to tweak with the hue settings, and will ensure color scheme consistency.

Merci encore, Laflibuste ;)

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
