RMMV Can I get a snippet which displays a window on the options menu?

I just need a snippet which displays a box/window, of configurable size and position, on the options menu.

This box would have text that I can define.

(it's going to say words to the effect of "Press 'esc' to exit menu", as I recently had a player complain that they found the lack of instruction to be a problem)

The HUD (just a box with text) displays on all scenes so it can also show in the options menu. Size and position is configurable.

Unfortunately that won't work, as there's no way to use that plugin only in the options menu (the HUD elements appear on all menus)

Maybe if you can detect that the options menu is open then it will stay On otherwise OFF. :/ Idk if that's possible.

Hmmm, unfortunately I can't seem to get that to work (nothing displays), however, it may be a clash with another plugin so probably isn't an issue with your script. It's late now though, so I'll check it when I come back.

I have used a clean project to test. So indeed can be a plugin conflict. But you are using MV, right?

Yep. It throws up no error or anything; just with it included and turned on, it has no effect (nothing appears). I'll have to look through my stuff.
