Can I make an event based on Variable

Im trying to make an event that only appears when a characters MP is under a certain amount. So far ive been able to make an HP drain system using the Variable system to first drain mp. Tried using this for the event but it appears no matter what unless i change to autorun which locks player movement. This is for MZ but i didnt see a MZ thread...

For more details I have a variable set to character MP and for some reason the events I'm making won't hide the monster unless it's on autorun. I want the monsters to appear when x character MP reaches x or lower value. For example Reid has 75 mp I want a monster to appear on the map when he has 50 or less mp.

Edit: what estriole suggested worked great. Thanks for the help. Once I have some screenshots I will post the events that are relevant to the situation.

Kinda new issue involved with this idea. Need to make the event appear and disappear based on mp value. It stays after appearing even if the mp value is outside its required area...

you need parallel process event to keep track of your character MP...
in that parallel change variable -> game data -> actor MP...
(don't forget to add at least 1 frame Wait event command to avoid fps drop)

then in your monster event add blank page (for when monster not appearing) with condition that variable >= certain value (somehow the event page only have variable >= condition)...

So make the event have a variable check for 100 since there will be no leveling. That works I hope. Thanks for the help in advance.

I did forget to mention I have the variable set to check actor mp as a common event as I'm adapting it to be a sanity meter.

It worked after a few tries but now i can copy the 3 events that i made based off of this and put them where ever

we need to see screenshots of the current events to check why they don't work.
if done correctly the effect should work as described, and that means either you're doing something wrong or something is interfering with the commands - in both cases we need to see what is in your project to help.
