Can I make it so the player's money appears in the corner?

I looked online and I couldn't find anything, I was wondering if it is even possible.

Yes, it's possible.

You could use a variable window HUD script such as this one http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/2302-xs-variable-hud/

or even this one: http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/13927-dkp-resource-hud-v10-ace/

You would control a variable to equal to the amount of gold the player has using a common event (parallel process) and have that variable used as the HUD.

There may be scripts out there which does this automatically (the second link provided does, I think), but the variable option gives you more customisation.

If you are referring to the gold window being displayed on the map...

It is quite possible. ;) I just wrote a quick little script for ya. :)

Script:

class Scene_Map < Scene_Base #-------------------------------------------------------------------------- # * Create All Windows #-------------------------------------------------------------------------- alias :my_create_all_windows :create_all_windows def create_all_windows my_create_all_windows create_gold_window end #-------------------------------------------------------------------------- # * Update Scene Transition #-------------------------------------------------------------------------- alias :my_update_scene :update_scene def update_scene my_update_scene @gold_window.refresh end #-------------------------------------------------------------------------- # * Create Gold Window #-------------------------------------------------------------------------- def create_gold_window @gold_window = Window_Gold.new @gold_window.x = 0 @gold_window.y = Graphics.height - @gold_window.height endend
In the Script Editor (F11), Place the script below "▼ Materials".

Screenshot:

Works good for me. Let me know how it works for you. :)

Feel free to use one of the Hud scripts by other people instead of this if you so desire.

I just made the above script as simple as possible. ;)

RMMV
Moving this to RGSSx Script Support since it's a very easy one to solve, but it does require scripts.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
