Can I use my friend's RPG Maker ?

Hello everybody, the thing is I asked my friend to purchase a MV version for me not long ago but he forgot buying it as a gift and the consequence is he has to share me his Steam account so that I can use it and I wonder if this thing is illegal or not and is it necessary to buy another one. Please let me know. Thanks very much

probably best to check the terms on steams side. i doubt account sharing is allowed.

Well, Steam should let him ask for a refund as long as it's had less than 2 weeks from date of purchase, AND less than 2 hours of use. If he meets those requirements, then he should be able to ask for a refund, then purchase it as a gift.

Yeah I know it is not allowed but every time we need to buy anything he has to contact a trader and it annoys us very much so he cant do anything until next sales season
