In RPG MAKER VXAce: is there a way to make the value of a variable not go over a certain number? like: the variable's value cap is 20, if you are at 20 and you get another point then this point is ignored and the value keeps being 20?

You can just use the Conditional Branch before adding more value to it (we can explain if you don't understand how to use Conditional Branch event). Unless you're not using the event to increase the variable.

The game does not automatically cap variables either down or up, you have to set a limiter yourself. See the example in the image, it's really as easy as that though.

Playtesting for Battle Castle is done, demo time for me was roughly 6 hours and 20 minutes. I'm going to pass it on to a few friends first, and after getting some feedback will be posting an official topic.
There's another Humble Bundle available now for RPG developer assets, this time focused somewhat more towards pixel art style games.

Ew, why does my blogpost on the rpgmaker.net site look like a garbled mess? Are html codes disabled or something?
