Can you edit a deployed game in RPGMaker MV?

I lost the files to my game in an accident. But, I found a deployed version in the files left. I was wondering if it was possible to edit the files using the deployed version. I used RPGMaker MV Version 1.6.2 to deploy it and I did not encrypt the files (as I wouldn't be posting it online). So, is it possible it to do this?

If the files aren't encrypted, then it's as simple as dropping a Game.rpgproject file into the "www" folder, and then opening it up in MV. You can just copy and paste the Game.rpgproject file from any other MV 1.6.2 project.
