Hi! What's up?
Can anyone give me a suggestion?
I'm creating a new game, and I need a two-word name, whose initials are "CN".
The game is about a mysterious camp where people end up coming from different universes / dimensions.
I thought "Camp [something about multiverse starting with N]" or "Crossover [something about camping starting with N]"
Any ideas are welcome, including loose words referring to these themes (camp, multiverse, interdimensional, mystery, abduction, etc.) starting with C or N.
Thanks in advance!

I have some, but sadly without CN. :(
-Camper's Anomaly
-Curious Tent
-Clairvoyant Summer

If CN feels too limiting, feel free to use those. :D

Since this is project specific and therefore not fit for General Discussion, I've moved this thread to Game Ideas and Prototypes.

To be honest the letter N is not that good for the Setting you are aiming for.

Still found some possible names (even though not THAT Fitting):

Camp Nuclear
Camp Nebula
Camp Nightmare
Camp Necropolis
Camp Noise
Camp Necro
Camp Nuts
Camp Nymph
Camp Nine
Camp Naga

Wooow
So many cool ideas!
Thank you guys, I will consider all these ideas!

@Dororo I understand what you mean! And I agree. But in this case, this is a lot because of the game plot and an important internal reference. For example, the film 'Number 23' aired on February 23. CN are initials for other things in the game and a clue to solve the main quest. (and you forgot Chuck Norris)

Camp Nexus
i seriously support this one, although in my head i was thinking "Carnival Nexus", mainly because the world carnival is cool and a carnival is nothing more than a camp with amusement park rides!

but the n should definitely be Nexus as it is the definition of what your trying to portray:

nex·us /ˈneksəs/ a connection or series of connections linking two or more things.
"the nexus between industry and political power"
a connected group or series. "a nexus of ideas"
the central and most important point or place.

@Conflictx3
Greetings!
You read my mind. I was just thinking about the definition of Nexus just now, and you literally sent that.
Let me explain: In my language, 'Nexus' translates as 'Nexo', which is something much more like 'coherence' than like 'connection'. I noticed that a lot of people, here and elsewhere, suggested the term 'Nexus', and I've seen it used for things like that. Despite that, I didn't quite understand if 'Nexus' is in English the same as 'Nexo' is for me (and I was ashamed to ask @BURNING_JUSTICE_Games what Nexus meant). In fact, the biggest reason you asked for help is that it is very difficult to think of puns in different languages, even if you are a speaker.

Thanks for the explanation, I will strongly consider 'Nexus' for N.

Complex Nexus might be good. Complex can mean a group of buildings as well as something complicated and you've already figured out what Nexus means :)

I've studied just enough of other languages to appreciate just how complicated English can be....

A good way to go about it is to get a idea of what the game generally will be about or what storyline will lead to. Even a title like "Compendium Never-ending" can work with a storyline that fits the title.

I chose "Criss Cross Chronicles" for my series cause it's mainly about how the stories of individuals can get linked together to make a bigger story, and influence how they'll survive in the world. Aka, it's "Chronicles" of many people that have gotten "Criss Crossed" together.

At the same time too, I have subtitles as well cause I've done a 120 chapter story before, but now I'm trying to do a game or two. For instance while it will use a lot of the same characters and some concepts (but not the same storyline as I thought of something I feel is better), I have "Criss Cross Chronicles: Magia" as my story title but "Criss Cross Chronicles: Eclipse Trio" is the name of the game I'm working on (used to be called CCC: Sagas, but I renamed it when jumping from VX Ace to MV).

I really get the feeling I should be doing regular YouTube videos whenever I make something cool in my game, instead of waiting for massive changes. But not going to lie... I always feel like it's never quite enough to merit an update, until it's a drastic change. :kaoswt:
