Cannot read property 'SetObject' of undefined

Greetings, I am fairly new to the RPG Maker community and have no prior experience with programming of any kind. I am having a similar issue with my game. It happens when you try to equip certain items to a character and it displays 

TypeError

Cannot read property 'SetObject' of undefined. 

And I am not sure how to resolve this problem, any help would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a more detailed screenshot with this post.

the "thing" that is calling setObject is not defined. so for example:

a.setObject()a would not be defined. You'll have to find out why.

Are you using any equip related plugins?

I am having the same problem, I am not using any plugins. I noticed the error after I went to the database and changed the name of the equipment types, and added a few more in.
