I make a map many times. I know that some tiles are blocked.

However, I always find that some tiles (such as grasses) become blocked areas. I can't find out any reason.

Any idea or advice? Thank you for any comments.

  • Some autotiles have special passability rules. Maybe you are using a wall top tile (tileset slot A4) for your grass? If the grass is an impassable (X) wall top tile, then:
    • You can walk around inside the grass area;
    • You can not enter/exit from the top or sides.

  • Plugins can change passability rules.

  • You might be colliding with an invisible event?

  • Hold [Ctrl] when testing to ignore passability/collisions.

Please show a screenshot of your map, in the editor, and highlight the tiles that you can't walk on.

Please see below image.
I circle the blocked area by red pen.

Let's continue making our game in MZ! Touchfuzzy is... still eventing... though this time we may be working on eventing some tutorial stuff for our players!

I work late on the game so I sleep in then I wake up late so I have to work hard to make up for sleeping in meaning I work late again and sleep in again... what a nasty cycle.
I just had my first real fire. Dad made burgers for lunch and the grill caught fire. He tried to get water but I told him you should never put water on a grease fire. So I got him the fire extinguisher under the sink and we managed to put it out. I can still smell a little of the smoke coming from the patio, but at least it's clearing. It sure was scary though.
