Can't disable Fast forward for the life of me!

I've tried a couple different plugins and one I have already that I know is currently working, but. the. dialog. just. keeps. FAST FORWARDING!!!!!!!

I don't have a lot of plugins running. Here's the order and set up I have right now.
I am trying to use YEP Message core to disable fast forwarding, I know the plug in is working because SRD's auto name tag plugin depends on it.

No console errors. Anyone have an idea of what's going on?

Are your plugins updated? Is your project? Based on the picture, it looks like you don't have 1.5.1 because the parameters are on the bottom instead of side. I don't know how that would be an issue itself, though...

set the priority of the event quest 1 to same as or above characters?

It looks like on second look that you don't want the fast forward function at all. I think you can leave the "Fast Forward Key" blank to solve that.

I thought so too. But that didn't work either. Thank you for trying to help. I am using version 1.4.0 but I'm not going to update it in the last days of IGMC, that's begging to drop out, lol. (What can go wrong, does go wrong with me)

It's honestly bizarre. I guess you could just disable the plugin, but it's seems too far gone to want to do that (especially since you are using the Autoname plugin). Can you change it to a different button? If you can't, then maybe the plugin just isn't working properly at all.

The only other thing I could think to suggest would be trying to put in Yanfly Core Engine at the top of your plugin list and see if that fixes it. It doesn't SAY it's required for message core...and I know there's a bunch of reasons you might not want to add the Core Engine. *shrug* Just a wild suggestion.

@Llareian LOL, it's funny that you should suggest that, I actually have a tab open for the core engine plugin and am trying to decide whether I want to try it. ;P

Disable ALL of the plugins and see if the issue still happens.
Does it do the same in a brand new project with no plugins and only one event that displays text?

What is the key to FF the messages? Any chance you just have a keyboard where that key is stuck?

Thanks @Shaz since it's not devastating if FF is on for my entry to the IGMC, if I have time I'll check this, if not, I'll figure it out after submitting.

The key is enter btw, and no stuck keys (fairly new laptop)
