Can't get title screen to show up in play test

I never used MV, so perhaps the problem is that I've never learned the changes that came in after VX Ace, but I thought all I needed to do was to check the box on the System 2 tab, like this:



However, that doesn't appear to be enough to get the title screen to come up when I hit play test. As I want to tinker with the placement of the command menu, I need to be able to see it.

What else should I have done?

Do you have a SkipTitle-Plugin active?

No, I only have the Visustella basic plugins, and I couldn't see anything obviously related to the title screen there. FYI, here are the default settings relating to play test.

Yeah, a plugin seems to be skipping the title screen. Visustella plugins have this option.
I believe if you set "New Game on Boot" to false, it won't be skipping the title screen anymore.

I think it has to do with the new game on boot, that's what's skipping your title screen (maybe? Worth a shot).
