cant get toggle dash script 2 work 4 the life of me! :0(

i found this script and it was exactly what i needed for my project! i saw it was in that funky "forum code format" so i tried to "organize??" the code myself but im not all that smart when it comes to making sure all the code is where it needs to be so i just got a hundred or so errors every time i tried :0/

if someone knows how to put the code snippet into a plug-and-play format i would really appreciate it! thanks a whole bunch! :0)

That's a pretty easy one to fix.

hrmm... i didnt get any errors this time but the script itself doesnt seem to work... the dash is disabled completely... but thank you for putting it the format i needed! :0)

How are you trying to activate/use the dash?
This script changes it so that just pressing the shift once will turn it on. press shift again and it turns off.
It would only never work if you have disable dash called somewhere

im using the shift key to dash. i went through my scripts that have anything to do with movement and after removing them it doesnt seem to make any difference. i also checked any parallel processes and common events & i removed the toggle dash script as well and the dash seems to work just fine as it regularly does :0/
the only script that is disabling the dash feature is this toggle dash script

Works fine. So it will be up to you to find the issue, unless you want to send me you project to tinker with.

the problem was this script: "Smart(er) Followers v1.0a"
dont see exactly why it would affect that but hey- found the problem!
(im just going to keep the dash script and remove the smart followers one)
