Can't install Rpg Maker MV

Hey guys I have a problem and I hope this is the right place to post it if it's not let me know. So my problem is I am trying to install Rpg Maker MV onto my new desktop but when I put my email and activation code in it just takes to a page telling me that the program can't be displayed and then all I can do is close the page. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

we need a bit more information before we can help - can you tell us what windows you're using, which version of MV you're trying to install and give a screenshot of the error message?


That said, if it is a whitescreen or a similiar display problem, that means that your display driver is too old and needs to be updated - RMMV requires a rather recent version of the OpenGL libraries, and if your display driver hasn't been updated for the last year or so your OGL-version is simply too old.

Why is you user name your email address? I strongly recommend you change that. You can change it by going to Account Settings and Display Name.

My driver was too old thanks for the help guys and to  mlogan I planned on changing my display name for a while now I just never got around to doing it.

you should keep in mind that there are bots searching the web for email adresses - having your adress as your forum name guarantees you additional spam mails
