Does Ace do parallaxes without a script? Do you have a script, and have you set it up correctly, and ensured that you haven't used the same variables or switches that the script is using for something else?

Is your parallax image exactly the same size as your map? Your map is 60x28, so your parallax image should be 1920x1536 pixels.

the only script in it is doctor todd one actor menu.
Wouldn't 60x28 be 1920 by 896?
The image is 1920x895

Yes, it would. I don't know why I typed 1536.

Make your image that size (you're one pixel short) and see if it makes any difference.

Thank you guys. I will test now. So parallax images must multiples with 32 ?

No, thats not it.

Parallax pictures have to be the EXACT size of the map. Each tile on the map is 32*32 Pixels in case of Ace, which means if a map is for example 25*25 tiles large, its parallax has to be 800*800 pixels, no other size allowed.

If you still have problems after that, please show us a screenshot of the map properties and link us to the website of the parallax script you're using.
Because as Shaz mentioned above, on Ace this will never work without a script, and depending on which script you're using you have to control the parallax in different ways.

I'm not sure about that Andar. I know a script is required for a parallax overlay, but Ace has the parallax image in the map properties, so I'm thinking a script is not necessary unless you want to use the overlays. I checked out my game, and I have a few maps with parallax backgrounds, and I don't use a script. I get confused now, with all the different versions.

Andar is correct. I just tried putting VE Parallax script into the project and it worked great.

@Shaz
Ace has no default option to disable the parallax (as in "background movement", the original reason why this is even called "parallax").
The only way to get this to work without a script is to make the parallax into the same value as the map movement, and that puts an additional requirements besides "parallax has to have the same pixels as map size" on the map itself. If I remember correctly, one way to get that was to make map size = screen size and the reason why a lot of parallax mappers limited themselves to those small maps.

But as sooner as you wanted larger parallax maps than screen size, you needed something to lock the background movement (the Parallaxe) to the map movement, and that could only be done with a script on Ace.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
