Can't select animation tiles

I tried to add images to my animation file. After doing so, my animation maker stopped allowing me to select animation tiles to create a new animation. All of the premade animations work and so does the one I made before this happened. I deleted the image files and restarted the maker but still can't select animation tiles.

How do I fix without having to scrap the whole project and start new?
