Kinda. . . And I think they are too 'heavy' as well. Something easier and lighter would be better.

Erys is kinda closer, but it doesn't sound like a female name? =P Reminds me of Eric. XD

And the evil one doesn't have to be exactly 'evil'. Just that little bit of 'evilish' or 'dark' theme, but no destruction, death and complex 'heavy' sounding names.

. . . Or names related to sun and moon, or day and night ~ the night/moon sounds dark and kinda evil, but in fact it's not evil.

So... the names can be connected like this:

Good - Evil

Sun - Moon

Day - Night

Light - Dark

Celestial - ...idk

The evil one is kinda dark of course, but no 'pure evil'. That's why it's difficult to come up with names.

Maybe they're too obscure. What about Alba (Dawn in spanish) and Ocaso (Sunset). Or maybe something simple like calling them Light and Shade?

The mythology names sounds kinda... weird and always kinda 'heavy'.

Alba and Ocaso ... Alba seems okay, but Ocaso doesn't sound like a female name.

But Light and Shade... These sounds 'light', simple, memorable and simply good for princesses/goddesses. I was thinking of names like this. Hmm... I think I'll pick these names for now as they sound good for me.

Well I thought of joining in because one cannot ever be too good. (Altought too busy fighting bad luck IRL)


So I got you a Battle background horizon at sunrise (yeah, tought of that this morning getting trashes out as the sky kinda was bright deep purple) Might help for a final battle and trash evil out of the realm for another century or so?

And, maybe a statue as a trophy or a good rocky dragon? I know it has been suggested a while ago!

If this is used as a rock golem that rocks that might surprise a bit for a while!


Also... It seems that I can't do attachment to both here and the armory so sorry it has spilled a bit! but I had to go on the imaginative path.

Nice work, everyone! I'm extremely sorry I was zero help for that scenario with Snix. I simply have not been around the last couple days and had no means of keeping track of this or working on anything. I just want to say I played through it and everyone did a great job. I know Snix is supposed to be evil and all, but I couldn't help but feel a little badly for him after being humiliated like that. His evil rep is obviously going to take a hit now.

That being said, wow does this thread move quickly. Gone a couple days and you have to read through 10 - 15 pages to see what's going on!

I took a look on your soundcloud page and you're doing great job with your tracks.
I was checking them and downloading some, now I'd like to ask are they allowed for non-commercial purpose?
I noticed you have some songs downloadable and not downloadable, I 'took' the downloadable ones.
If you have different terms for different songs, then I can post the titles of them.
Of course the purpose is to use them in our minigame.
 

Thank you very much! Anything I have offered as "royalty free" is allowed for non-commercial and commercial use. Basically it's allowed for whatever you want provided I'm credited.

The things that aren't available for download are pieces I've composed and license to others for commercial use or they're tracks I'll put on my own future music releases. However, for the purposes of this good v.s. evil contest, I have absolutely no problem with letting you or anyone else use any of my music for any mini-games, maps, scenarios etc. I'm not sure if that's allowed by the contest rules because those pieces aren't generally available as free resources and they were certainly made well before this contest started. Maybe someone with a better understanding of what's allowed and what's not can help explain what's permissible regarding this.

But if that's not a problem and they're allowed, anyone feel free to PM me with any piece they want and I can loop it for you and send a download link.

Using RTP is also kind of using the stuff made before the contest.

So music made before the contest used in game/minigame should be allowed as well.

However posting resources/music/games and stuff made before the contest directly as resources made for contest for prizes is prohibited.

I'm not 100% sure, but otherwise it would be not fair.

If the pieces have fading ends after the 'possible loopable part' then I can loop them by myself if you don't have anything against that of course. I don't want to bother you.

Also, for future ~ You have some downloadable tracks without "Royalty Free Music" in title. They have the same terms of use?

Ah, thanks for the heads up. Some of that music uploaded is a couple years old. I hadn't realized some of them didn't have titles indicating they were royalty free. So I went ahead and fixed that so they all have it in the title and in their description. That should be a little less confusing for people. I hope!

Here's the entire free playlist in one spot so you don't have to sift through the giant list on my main page.

I'll be sure to keep putting that in the titles from here on out so people will know. But generally, if I put something up as a free download, it means I'm allowing people to use it how they want. If there's ever any confusion, feel free to write and ask and I'll do my best to clear it up!

And yes, that's fine for credit!
