Hello everyone
I made this thread for gather and hear thought about my prototype tower defense.
I love playing custom maps in warcraft III (clasic) and used to play alot of td game there like greentd, mafatd etc. So my idea is come from them, defeat enemy -> upgrade and have some damage effects like slow or stun.
Current prototype only have 3 wave and 2 tower building, I still play arround with the tower defense mechanic.
Talk to npc to buy tower, to use it open inventory and use the item, you can place it the tower anywhere except the road and the fade green is the tower range attack, originaly I want the range is circle but its just too hard for me.
To start the wave talk with the red button
Health system is using hero health, when enemy touch the read crystal hero hp decrease and if reach 0 game over but this still not fix, my idea is using new actor like add crystal/gate or something
and attack animation maybe too heavy? when have many tower and so many effect the game fps become so low
Game Mechanic
The mechanic is you play as the buildier. You can buy tower from the vendor
Open inventory and use the item tower and place it anywhere except the road
each kill give you money to buy/upgrade the tower
the goal is to survive until the wave done

After playing arround with the project this become more fun for me to develop especially after add grid and mouse support this kinda fun to play so I think I will release this as full game
and maybe release the plugin
Would love to hear any feedback or any other towerdefense for inspiration
