Hi folks,
first of all - I'm new to this forum and I apologize in advance for any faux pas here (like placing topics wrong).
I would like to create new tilesets for RPG Maker MV in the first place, but legally usable with other engines. And yes, I know... I will have to do a lot of stuff all by myself for that... maybe with a little help of edited CC0-stuff (I will point out, where that is the case). My goal is to have a nice tileset for my own indie-ambitions, if you like it and there is demand - maybe I will share/offer it at some point in the future. For now I want to show case my work and collect your opinions regarding style and quality (and I hope that's the right place and cool with the rules here, yes?).
So - Terms of Use: Ask me if you want to use anything for your projects. We can work something out.
My first aproach are bigger non-generic looking background tiles, instead of one repeating tile. As a first try, I created the attached 8x8 repeating earthland, meadow, gravel and desert tiles. What do you think? Btw. I create them at 256x256 to be flexible. These are downscaled to 48x48 per tile, 768x768 pixels in all.
