Hey everyone. I don't want to spend a lot of time introducing myself, so I'll get straight to the point.
Currently I'm in the process of creating a horror game inspired by other popular ones of a similar style. (Ib, Mad Father, The Witches House, etc.) While it's going smoothly, it has been running slow, due to most of the work being done by myself alone.
Anyways, here's some stuff about my game!
Summary:
Cecil is a 10 year old boy who is afraid of nearly everything. Despite being born into a wealthy family, he has been neglected his whole life; especially by his father. As if it were a dream, everything around him quickly begins to spiral into something dark, and evil. Cecil is being forced to confront his worst fears around every corner, but these fears are much more than they appear. Why now? Who is behind all of this? And most of all, will he find his way out of the darkness?
What I Need:
Writer [0/1] - To help with story progression.
Musician/s [0/2] - Sound Effects, Soundtrack, etc.
Tile Creator [0/1] - For any custom tiles that may be needed.
Scripter/s [0/?] - Who knows what kind of code we'll need!
Testers [2/3] - Fixing Bugs is always important.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
