I found the issue and fixed it, so the download link is updated. Thanks for finding this. The problem was that I use a plugin that allows me to use regions to pass underneath tiles and the regions needed to do this were missing. You should be able to throw the switch and pass through the door now.I'm currently playing and enjoying the game, but I just ran into an unavoidable game-breaking bug early on, which is present in the new version you just uploaded. Something is wrong with the pathway at the Acre sewers' exit inside the city. When entering the pathway (no matter if the switch has been activated or not), I can't leave it to either side (up or down). Running/walking or turning the always run option on/off doesn't make a difference either, and I can't think of anything I'm doing wrong. This is probably a version-specific bug; otherwise at least ShadowDragon would have encountered it long ago. Well, this game is just like I love my cup of JRPG, so I'll patiently await a fix or instructions to get me out of this quandary; thanks in advance.
When standing on the left plateau, you have to make the jump from the bottom right corner of the edge. You should be standing exactly two spaces to the left of the pillar (assuming the pillar is on the grey tile). Thinking about it now, I may actually change some of the tiles in that room to make it more obvious where you're supposed to be standing to make the jumps.I'm sorry for bothering you again: Now that I'm inside the Ice Castle where the second Sanctum is located, I have a general idea of what I'm supposed to do, but I'm stuck nonetheless. After pushing the first pillar in the second room on the nearby gray tile, I can't jump across the gap between the two plateaus, no matter what I do, and I don't see any other way to progress. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Okay, I found the issue. The plugin I use to make secret passages has a stipulation where it can only let you run events that are on the same floor level as the player. This can be bypassed with a specific event comment, which I have added to all of the events in that room, so the jumps should be working now. In fact, the stairs leading to the upper levels in that room would not have worked, either had I not added the event comment. This is stated right in the plugin documentation, so it's my fault for not catching it. I've tested other areas where you're making jumps from the tops of autotiles, and they seem to be working so hopefully you won't run in to this problem again. I have updated the download link with the fix.I had tried that, and I just tried it again - to no avail. When the first pillar stands on the gray tile, I can't trigger the jump from anywhere on the left plateau. This issue actually applies to the right plateau as well. Could you please check if the jumps on that map trigger correctly? I'm at a loss with this right now, since I've tried everything I can think of (using different Enter keys on the keyboard, resetting and not resetting the pillars etc.).
I've tried to implement changes/plugins to help optimize the game as much as I can, but sometimes it's not enough. Try going to the config menu and disabling animated autotiles, or closing other applications while you play.Hi.
Great game, i really like it . My problem is because my computer are a couple years old , some MV games sometimes tends to crash suddenly, and i can`t remember where or how i found the G.Glove.
This is correct. If I remember correctly, Genji Glove is the first/only treasure you can find in Tazewell Mansion when you visit that location for the first time.
Fixed. The issue was the same as before, just events needing a comment so that you can interact with them regardless of floor level.Dang, now I've encountered a serious "immaterialness" issue inside the Ice Castle. I can't activate the blue switch on the first floor (which, I assume, is mandatory to advance), probably because I can walk right through it. The treasure chest on the second floor suffers from the same problem, by the way.
