@Gudako most default works automatically if you have the autotrack PARAM
on auto, I need to look at this to be certain.

However, if you made a custom Skill (and dish the default), to make an image
and information on those which the default doesn't have the way you want it,
this MUST be manually.

Every custom made entry can only be tracked manually, otherwise, it can be
tracked automatically.

I'm also completely unable to get this to work with the YEP Main Menu Manager.

Symbol: mortal souls
Show: true
Enabled: true
Ext: 12
Main Bind: this.callCommonEvent.bind(this)
Actor Bind:


ext = commen event 12 (feel free to change the number)
and see how it works.

alternative before trying, use a single qouote instead of double.
if this does not work, but through a commen event, than I dont know
why it doesn't work.

there might be missing something, like others have issues with other
plugins to add it.

another way to add it (if it's not that much), try CGMV Custom Command Menu
and see if it works there, which is less trouble some :)

Changing the quotes to single quotes gives the same error. Making the main bind a common event causes nothing to happen when I click it. No error, just exits the menu.

if you dont have a solution yet.

but you can try instead of the scriptcall to use a plugin command.
if nothing happen as well, I reply tomorrow when no answer is given
to see whats going on.

Welp, as it turns out, I somehow forgot about the CGMV core. Now it works, but only through the common event/plugin command.

it bit further, but yes, CGMV is require for almost all his plugins except 1 or 2
so far I know.

I will edit when I check YEP_MMM to see what is missing that it doesn't work
for you somehow.

move CGMV Core below YEP_Core, Encyclopedia below battle plugins
(game event/event sections).

while there are some plugins out of place (outside of YEP) placing those higher,
should fix the issue for you (it work on my end).

So I dont know what other cause it can have.

That still doesn't do anything, besides making it impossible to exit the main menu.

CGMV_Core and Encyclopedia in a new project to see if you can
get it to work there? else I make a tiny demo for you,
I dont know what else can be wrong though

Unfortunately, I am now having a completely separate problem. When equipment gives party members new skills, the skills do not appear in the encyclopedia. What should I do to fix this?

if it's a custom name, it must be manually be tracked.
default are auto tracked, new entries are not.

it's not actor bind, it's Main Bind, but still, if you cant get it to work,
use common event part, if that is easier, if you can spare a CE ID.

My mistake, I've responded to the wrong thing. I was referring to the skills not appearing in the encyclopedia automatically.

read helpfile:

CGMVEncyclopedia Discover [symbol] [id]
CGMVEncyclopedia Discover skill 3 (example)

this is mostly if you use custom entries, or if it wont show
if param is automatic, you can use it as well.

Quick question man, I'm trying to use this to create something a little more elaborate. Is it possible get the js symbol for this plug-in from you so I can plug it into a menu plug-in? Or maybe I can commission something from you if you wouldn't mind? I'm trying really hard to produce my game in a really high quality. So I've been trying to implement ideas that are not typically done in indie level games.
