Chain Game II - Brainstorming

Thanks, I'll see about getting this together with the new and improved town.There is a couple of event glitches, but I can easily fix that.

I'm also going to avoid asking what space town is for, I assume you rather have me ignore it XD

Yeah, don't mind the events, they were all rushed and sloppy =P.

And yes, I just didn't feel like creating a new project to save those maps, so I just left them there xD.

Cool. It's good that we're making progress here. Greensburg made the initial draft of the colisseum, and let's just build on top of that.

Seacliff can merge that colisseum/arena with Lustermx's interiors if need wish, with his main town. Meanwhile I'll finish moving house and then I can collaborate my ideas with Seacliff to make an early alpha version of our hub town.

To-Do:

• Seacliff merging colisseum/arena with Lustermx interiors
• I finish moving house
• Keep updating the wiki with progress about town, etc.
• People keep creating their own versions of towns, and merging the best parts

Got it, but note to Lustemx, Choco-Elliot Wyvern already did most of the interior maps, so I can't promise that all of your maps will be within the town, though I will get as many as I can in.

That being said, there was one map that completely slipped my mind, we need a bar to put our avatars of the chain game universe like in the first game. Anyone can take this job though, if they want, but first come, first serve, doesn't matter how much better it is.

Contact thatbennyguy or Seacliff if you wish to join in on the chain game, or just do it yourself lol.

Also, I'm pretty much done 'envisioning' the town so this will hopefully get done by Friday, the 23, this project had happen to come at me at a fairly busy week though, but I still have plenty of free time.

Seriously though, thanks to Lustermx, Choco-Elliot Wyvern, and Greensburg, we have all the interior maps needed for chapter 1 (besides the dungeon) DONE! At this rate we might be done by the end of the month.

Also time to put some avatars in the pub, you guys can do your own when you get your hands on the game

Edit: The town is somewhat outdated since Benny's version is, like 150x better, but this is still a good base.

• Castle Walls higher and made of different stone
• Wall ornaments
• Some roofs altered
• Sideways-buildings altered
• Dock made more sectioned and less of a large area
• Levels on the West End (cliffs, platforms)
• Fix door to inn
• Fix consistency of interior doors
• Fix Seacliff errors "beginning" and "how we role"

Basically we're just constructing the town until Deckiller has finished the first chapter. No people yet, but the architecture is evolving quite nicely. We will create a Dropbox most likely within the week to house the master version of the Chain Game, and people can add their branches to be merged in a separate folder, i.e. their various chapters.

Again, if you would like to be added to the Skype Group chat, then please post your Skype account either here or PM it to me/Seacliff/Deckiller, that would be much appreciated.

That's because lots of people start there own chain game, it's not really an 'official' chain game. (more or less)

The Skype group has been virtually dead for a while now, so basically little progress had been done since the town was finished.

I think we should wrap up the first chapter since we are THAT close from getting started, that's something we need to talk about in the skype group, a few of us had been very busy, which is understandable, but others (like me) have a ton of time on our hands and the work hadn't been balanced out well.

But Samus loses her power-ups after every game.  Same goes for Mega Man!

There have been only three Metroid games where she loses her powers.  In the rest of them, she simply and inexplicably starts without them.  Same as Mega Man.

Anyway, I'm going to suggest that anyone who participates in the chain game should NOT add scripts.
