Introduction
My personal Action Battle System. I made this script for a game I was working on a couple of months ago. Then I heard about MV, so I abandoned the project. I'll be making a new version for MV, but this version is functional enough for those who want it.

- Free Movement (via GaryCXJk's amazing Free Movement script!!)

- Hybrid weapon types
- Blocking with shields
- Dual wielding
- Attack system can be separated from enemy damage calculation system if desired
- Controls optimized for gamepad
- Enemy health bars
- Elemental damage

How to Use
Download the sample project linked below.

The sample project uses a modified iconset which repositions a few items and separates bows/arrows. If you copy/paste the scripts, you may want to grab the iconset to go with it.

The GaryCXJk Free Movement system is bundled with this project (consistent with his terms) since the ABS is designed to work with it. You can choose not to use it if you want.

Author's Notes
Free for non-commercial with credit to Chalkdust. (And GaryCXJk if Free Movement is used.) Modify as needed. Honestly, I think it needs much more polish for commercial use. If you can do it, go for it.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
