Hi everyone.

So i've been looking around google for this type of script and only found one...

for vx...

Basically, I am looking for a script (If I can I will gladly do this with Common events) that will allow me to track how many times the player has died and use it in a conditional branch. So that everytime a player dies to a boss they'll say something different. Example:

(First Time)

"Blah Blah Blah here we go Blah Blah Blah"

(Second Time)

"Blah Blah Blah Time to die Again"

If you have played the Undertale Genocide route and died to Sans you'll understand what I mean.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a script that can help you do this! It can even do the thing Undertale does with remembering what you've done in past save files without actually saving, and it's called the global save script. I'm actually making a fangame with this implemented in it, too. Here's the link!

Basically, all you do is go into the script and set a variable that you want to stay the same even if you create a new game. It'll create a brand new file called "Global.rvdata2" and it'll store all that information. And to have it save, all you have to do is change that variable and input a script command that says "global_save", and you're done!

Have fun! :D

Wherever it's trying to save to probably has a permissions issue - are you the admin on your computer?  Do you know where it's trying to make the save file?  You don't have your project saved in Program Files or something like that, do you?

Also check the forum rules on double posting - you've posted 3 times in a row in the last 10 hours.

Well I actually just figured out the problem. My computer had crashed while playtesting and i believe that was causing the error. I moved it into a new project and it works fine now. And for the double posting thing. I'll check the forum rules so I don't make more mistakes.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
