Change Plugin Parameter Through Event

Hello!
I'm wondering if it's possible to change plugin parameters through event?
If it's possible, how to do it?

This is CityShrimp Fog of War plugin.

So I want to change the player vision range to 6 when certain switch is activated.
I also want to change the true or false parameter through event.
Any help would be appreciated.

Not really, unless the plugin makes provision for it. Here's why ...

Most plugins read the parameters and do setting up when the game is loaded. Modifying a parameter via an event, even if you could, might be way too late - the plugin may never reference the parameter from that screen again.

If you change a parameter and the plugin does notice it, when you go back to the menu and start a new game, the plugin will now have the new value for the parameter instead of the old one.

A link to the plugin's page would be really helpful, so someone could actually take a look and see - without having to go searching for it.

I looked at it, and as I said above, it does indeed set up things when starting the game, as well as when loading a new game. I wondered if it might be easy to just use a variable instead of the plugin parameter, but there are quite a few changes that would need to be made (I was hoping for only one or two lines).

Have you tried going back to the plugin author and requesting a mod so the range can be based on a variable instead of a parameter?
