there are some plugins to change design, change x and y or totally
differently.

I got a event menu and a plugin (require images), but you can create
it any design of it if you follow the rules.

it doesn't use gold window or status window.

if you want to keep the default but different colors or per window,
use a windowskin plugin (there are 3 I know off).

but it really depends on the look and mockup you are aiming for,
as those require a plugin and made in a way to work for you.
