Changes in battle formula variables and script calls?

Like the title implies, is there any significant change in the way that battle formula and script calls work between Ace and MV? can we still create complex formula that use things like x and s params or actor order?

You still can, though the class names and method names are different.

The damage formula also is very, very long now, which I think is terrific!

I will start a pinned thread where we can request/receive help with these.
