Changing Actor Position Mid Battle?

In one of my battles, I want my Actor 1 to move away from the group at a certain turn and be positioned at a new location. I tried doing this using the SVActorPosition plugin which came with RMMV, but it seems the plugin command SVActorPosition doesn't work when called from a troop event or a common event, that or I'm doing something wrong.

Could someone shed some light on whether this plugin can be called from within a battle or not? If not, then is there a way to move my actor's positions while in the middle of battle?

PS: I tried using the Yanfly ActionSequence plugins, but the actors always return to their home positions after their skills are complete, which is not the effect I am looking for.

Thanks,

I know for sure this can be done with a plugin because I saw it used in another MV project. Only problem is the owner of the script doesn't want to release it to the public (fair enough, it is theirs after all). Maybe make a plugin request post over in the plugin request section on these forums?

I was able to get it to work using a script call where I set SceneManager._scene._spriteset._actorSprites[X]._homeX and SceneManager._scene._spriteset._actorSprites[X]._homeY to the location I want. I tried this in a couple of battles and it seems to work. The positions also reset by themselves at the start of battle.

Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
