Changing font only changes title screen font. Help?

I'm trying to test out different fonts for my game, but whenever I change it (going into "Main" in the script editor), it only changes the font of the title screen. How do I fix this?

Are you using any other script, like Yanfly's for example? If I recall correctly (which could not be the case), Yanfly scripts include custom fonts for each thing, either menues or the message box.

The same goes for any other "XXX Engine" which has a lot of features and changes concerning every aspect of the game (aka. Menues and MessageBoxes which are the things all people care about to change ASAP, aside from Title Screen).

I'm using Yanfly's core and it only uses 1 font by default for all texts... just different font sizes...

btw, how did you change fonts by going into Main???

Before the rgss_main you add the following:

Font.default_name = "Arial" #for exampleFont.default_size = 1337Font.default_bold = trueFont.default_color = Color.new(255,0,255)Font.default_(etc)Look for all of these "default_" properties for the Font module on the help file, there are some that I don't remember very specific to Ace.

ah yah... you can add that... though wait, what other scripts are you using... something might be changing the fonts upon starting a new game / loading the game

Yes I am using Yanfly's scripts. Should I just search for "font" in those scripts and edit them in those areas?

in Yanfly's Core, there is a part that says FONT_NAMES... it's an array (just in case the first font cannot be found, it will use the next one and so on) put the font name of the one you want to use as the first entry on that array
