Hello, I decided to change the font for my game by replacing the "main" script to this:

Font.default_name = ["Papyrus"] # Edit as you see fit.
Font.default_size = 27 # Edit as you see fit.

rgss_main { SceneManager.run }
So I changed the font to Papyrus, but when I compress the game data into the autoinstaller, the font ends up changing to the default Ace one. How can I fix this?

Maybe the font isn't installed on that computer?


or try putting it on another script rather that there.


PS: The player still needs the VL Gothic font though, because the game still looks for that no matter what font ur using

Stick the Papyrus font file in a folder called font inside the main directory of your game. 

@engr. shana putting that code above main shouldn't matter exactly as long as its not under it.

but hmmm... I think if you made it like that, and Papyrus don't exist, it should have thrown an error or something

 Yes, you need to put the font in the Fonts folder inside the project. It will not give you an error if it's not there, so you just need to playtest and make sure it's working. On a sidenote, Papyrus is a pretty awful font that a lot of people hate, and it might annoy players.

If the font is installed on that comp though, it should work. though really, it's weird that it resets back to VL Gothic...

While was working on one of the monsters that will appear in my horor game I may have made harold a Lovecraftian monster. (I used his head to keep things aligned.)

It's always a good idea to refresh yourself on what your plugins do. I'm working on a map with opening walls, and I was about to tear my hair out over how much image editing and hand-constructing of autotiles I'd have to do, when I looked again and saw @Shaz 's Tile Changer could copy areas from another map.

Ugh... 4:53AM over here and I can't sleep so why not just game make.
