Changing hitboxes

I have an event with an image larger than 48x48 but the hit detection stays the same, is there anyway to change the size of the events hit detection to be equal to its size?

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
