Hello, I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, or if it has been asked already, but I have a question.

I've played a couple of RPG Maker titles such as ED: Skyward temple, and I've noticed an aesthetic difference in the text box's design. I've tried looking for an answer, but I'm stumped. How does one change the design of the text box? Will that require scripting, or pictures in game folders, or some other means? I'm also looking for the same deal with aesthetic menu design that deviates from the norm.

I see, so I have to draw a background and add it under graphics/system. Thank you for your help! :)

You would only need to use the script if you are wanting to use multiple windowskins in your game.  If you just look at the help file there is a section on the windowskin that shows how it needs to be defined.  You could also just go to the Resource Manager and export the existing windowskin and then modify that one to however you want it to look.

For my first game I just did a Google search for windowskins and found some really good ones that I could pick from.

Oh, I see. However, although I can't seem to access the detailed information on defining window skins.

Fixed

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
