Changing SV Character Battler Sprite Upon Equipping A Weapon

    Is there a way or a plugin for changing the SV character battler sprite based on the weapon or class of weapon the character is wielding?

    I'm in a bit of a rush, so I can't try it out for myself, but you could probably use this method Yanfly showcased on one of his Tips & Tricks videos. You'll likely have to use Yanfly's Passive States in conjunction.

    First have your desired weapon apply the Passive State when held, and have that Passive State transform the sprite.
    This is all just theory, though. Like I said, I don't have time to try it out myself beforehand.

    Search for a Plugin from a user here waynee95 called OnEquipEval and use it with Yanfly's item core. The problem with the above solution doesn't work when you first equip the item because by default the JavaScript code doesn't run when the player first equip it.
