Err.. well, hopefully it's same, but here how you find out the index of the color..
Graphics/System your windowskin, there's a pixel square of color bottom right corner, now that is the index. Started from the topmost left, it count from 0,1,2,3 and so on. =D.
EDIT : Well okay then, it's already almost 4 A.M, glad I can be some help. Ask again tomorrow but really I need to force this eyes closed now.
