Wonder why this thread is in this section?

First, I tried reading forum section threads stickies to see where these questions go.Since I still can't figure it out I am posting my general question in general discussion.

Unfortunately I know this isn't the first time that this has been asked for RPGMV but when I search the forum for "RPGMV Title Screen"

I get search results like "How do you feel about LGBT characters in games?"

Which is no where even ball park close to my topic, and I don't know the correct search syntax to find the correct results.
So how do I change the title screen graphic and remove the overlay text on my project in RPGMV?

If you need help with using the program you should post in Maker Support --> Maker Specific --> Program.
Also if you hit F1 in the editor it'll bring up a really well documented help file that may answer a lot of your questions.

If you need to change the background for the title screen it's under the System tab in the Database (F9). The option to remove the title is there as well (if that's what you mean by overlay text).
You need to place the image in the project's img/titles1 folder.

Gotcha thank you, your help is much appreciated. Didn't know about the F9, I tried it after reading your post, unfortunately trying F9 or ctrl + F9 and nothing is happening.

It's the cog on the hotbar or Tools --> Database.

Not sure if you have any knowledge of coding but you might want to use a plugin for an alias so that you don't delete any code from the original JS just in case you want to change other things other than the Image in the title screen. These are tutorials on how to change some of those things. You're going to have to turn it into a plugin and put it in your plugin JS folder and make sure its turned on to test what you're trying to do. If you want to test the way it looks you can always make a separate game file or use the plugin on your current game which is completely up to you.

Awesome thank you for the super helpful information. Anyone know why my Function hotkeys aren't working?

On my journey of character rework: I had this character, she was meant to be just a princess that joins your party. And at long term she was just uninteresting... So I tweaked her to be a rebel agaisn't the royalty before meeting up with the party.
